American creative director Michael Sondag of the quintessentially English but Spanish owned brand Hackett has continued to impress since he joined from Tommy Hilfiger in 2005. The a/w 09 collection is flawless in my own opinion, there are the typical English elements like plaid and the flat cap, brilliant use of knits and manchic leather goods.
