Wednesday, February 11, 2009

I was at the cinema last week saturday with 3 of my friends although we originally wanted to see the new Brad pitt movie the girls were not on time :oD ....lol like its a new thing. so we had to settle for it.
It was pretty much a fun movie to see although very predictable and similar story lines to the first and second parts but the action scenes were thrilling. I enjoyed every bit of it!

Directed by : Olivier Megaton & produced by : Luc Besson, Steve Chasman .

BEVERLY HILLS CHIHUAHUA

Wednesday, February 4, 2009
I watched this movie last week at the cinema and i must say i totally enjoyed it. It's about Chloe(voiced by Drew Barrymore) a spoilt trustfund beverly hills chihuahua owned by Jamie lee Curtis.
Well Jamie had to leave to Europe for an important business meeting so she left Chloe in the care of her sister (Piper Perabo) who felt Chloe was a spoilt brat :o).....how many dogs have schedules that include massages and get together with other dogs...lol

Well every spoilt dog has an admirer and the dog above Papi (voiced by George Lopez) was the dog trying to get with Chloe. But he was a low class dog that belonged to the landscaper who was constantly being referred to as a gardener much to his dismay. So Chloe is moved to Mexico by Jamie's sister and her possse. but out of stubborness she ventures out of her hotel room and is kidnapped by people involved in Dog fight betting.
Well this rat and iguana were.... i've said too much already go watch the movie :o)

HOTEL FOR DOGS

Tuesday, February 3, 2009

I've always loved dogs since i was little and a great indulgence of mine was and still is watching doggie films or animated movies :o). Hotel for dogs has a good story line about how 5 kids save dogs from the streets and create a sort of self serving hotel that caters to the dogs whenever they are not around. Notice the loo and Dining room pictured above...lol

The cast is made up of Emma Roberts, Don Cheadle, Johnny Simmons, Lisa Kudrow, Kevin Dillon . It's definately a cracker and a good movie to go see at the cinema.

NEW IN TOWN

Sunday, February 1, 2009
In this movie Renee Zellweger plays a Miami businesswoman transferred to rural Minnesota, and while she is there she deals with the typical city girl stuck in the rural area kinda problems :o)and also re-evaluates her big-city values.

You can always trust Renee Zellweger to deliver good humor that'll make your stomach muscles ache. Nothing really new about the story though, she meets a rural guy ,falls in love bla bla bla. But its a good movie to see if you plan on relaxing or having a good time.
Starring- Renee Zellweger, Harry Connick Jr., Frances Conroy, Siobhan Fallon Hogan, Nancy Drake.
Directed byJonas Elmer and produced by Scott Niemeyer, Norm Waitt, Darryl Taja.
Watch the Preview or better still head to a cinema near you :o)

CORALINE

Saturday, January 31, 2009
The is the story of a young girl who unlocks a mysterious door in her new home and enters an adventure in a parallel reality. Where everyone is different in a weird kind of way. This is a family movie, so you can take the kids or your nephew/niece to watch. Showing in theatres February 6. Coraline is voiced by the adorable Dakota Fanning who is growing into a very beautiful and talented actress by the day. It's my pick for top 10 movies of 2009.
Starring-Dakota Fanning, Teri Hatcher, Ian McShane, Jennifer Saunders, Keith David and John Hodgman
