Men Jumpers are the ideal pair for a dress shirt. It gives the shirt room to flaunt itself and people get to more of the shirt's character and not only the collar popping out from the neck in the case of a normal v-neck jumper. Plunging v-neck jumpers are also best suited to ties, i had this v-neck jumper in the university and anytime i wore it with a tie i always found myself pulling it down to make the tie a little more visible. This does not happen if it's a low neck jumper.
